Tomasz Lisiecki (cello) - started his music education in Bydgoszcz in cello class under Prof. Agata Jarecka. He continued his studies at Academy of Music in Poznan under Prof. Stanislaw Pokorski. Already as a student he took part in many auditions such as: all-Polish D. Danczowski Competition in Poznan, International Cello Players Competition in Lietzen (Austria) and W. Lutoslawski International Cello Competition in Warsaw. He has improved his skills under the supervision of Zara Nelsowa, Victoria Yagling, Roman Jablonski and Jaap Ter Linden (baroque cello) and during Summer Music Academy in Zagan under S. Pokorski, K. Michalik and T. Wojciechowski. His chamber output bearded fruits in winning 2 nd prize at International Chamber Music Competition in Lodz, the participation in the 2 nd stage of J. Brahm International Competition in Poertsch (Austria) and the participation in J. Brahm International Chamber Music Competition in Gdansk. Currently he works as a lecturer at Academy of Music in Poznan and High School and Music College in Poznan. In 2002 he started studies at Universitat der Kunste in Berlin taking baroque cello classes under Phoebe Carrai and Markus Moellenbeck. At the same time he plays in the Academia dell'Arcadia orchestra that specializes in the performance of 17 th and 18th century music.
